We are a diverse service oriented group, representing over 60 social and human service agencies, striving to enhance the quality of life for the community and ourselves. |
The Franklin County Resource Network serves as an information clearinghouse and source of mutual support for a diverse group of community service agency staff. Community Action coordinates the Resource Network by facilitating monthly meetings and publishing a monthly newsletter.
During FY 2002 the group expanded its monthly mailing to 150 members and produced a directory listing 41 programs in the area. Over 110 community service professionals attended meetings throughout the year. Guest speakers included representatives from a wide range of community organizations. And this year, a new event was added, the Harvest Dinner, now an annual fall event that brings Network members together for an evening of food, fun and networking.
