Community Action is the largest provider of licensed child care in Franklin & Hampshire Counties.

Quality child care nurtures a child's development and allows parents to work or attend school without worrying about their children's well-being. Community Action helps parents find and pay for child care and provides high-quality licensed care for hundreds of children each day. 

Child Care Outlook is the resource and referral agency for Franklin County, Hampshire County and the North Quabbin region. Child Care Outlook helps parents find quality child care and helps eligible parents pay for child care expenses. All services are free.

The Parent-Child Development Center (PCDC) provides early education and care to children, ages 0-5, in Head Start and Early Head Start programs, center-based classrooms, family child care homes, and home visiting programs. Through a flexible mix of affordable options, PCDC offers families earning lower-incomes the security of knowing that their children are learning and playing in a safe, supportive environment.
