Food and Nutrition

At Community Action, we firmly believe that no one should have to go to bed hungry. From our Center for Self-Reliance Food Pantries to our Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program, Community Action has programs in place to nourish our lower-income neighbors.

WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) assists pregnant women and families with children 0-5 in affording nutritious food and educates participants about immunization, nutrition, and breastfeeding.

Our Center for Self-Reliance Food Pantries serve as a drop-in storefront, where eligible households can stock up on nutritious local foods.

Need help applying for food stamps? No problem! Staff at our Community Action Resource Centers can assist you through the SNAP application process.
