Infants require up to 12 diapers per day and food stamps (SNAP) and WIC benefits can not be used to purchase diapers.
CHANGING DIAPERS, CHANGING LIVES.
Did you know that 1 out of every 3 families struggle to afford diapers? Diapers make a huge difference in the lives of low income families. Having enough diapers has a huge impact on the health and development of babies.
Parents have to make hard choices when there isn’t enough money and sometimes they have to delay changing the baby or skimping on food purchases. Diapers cost an average of $100 dollars monthly. When we close the DIAPER GAP, we increase a family’s sense of well-being. Read about WHY DIAPERS MATTER.
The Diaper Task Force accepts donations at any time throughout the year so we can maintain a sufficient supply to support families during difficult financial times. Click on our Donor Information Form to learn about quantities of diapers needed and to share the information with others. Interested in hosting a diaper drive? Click here. HELP CLOSE THE DIAPER GAP!
