Franklin County Family Network

Parents of young children need a place where they can socialize with other parents and participate in fun and stimulating activities with their children. The Franklin County Family Network brings these parents together with early childhood educators and other community members to create such opportunities.

The Franklin County Family Network organizes activities for families with children age 0 through 3, addressing the strengths and unique needs of all participating families in Franklin County.

The Franklin County Family Network thrives on community involvement. There are several ways you can become involved:

  • Participate! Attend a playgroup session, story hour, workshop or other Family Network event 
  • Volunteer! Staff a playgroup session, read for a story hour, provide childcare or deliver welcome bags to families of newborns 
  • Share Your Ideas! What do you think would make like a little more fun for families with children under four? 
  • Join a Council! Meet other concerned parents. Help us decide where grant funds are best spent 
  • Tell a Friend! We're here to support families with young children. Tell friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers about our services so we may continue to provide for families in Franklin County
