Managing Your Money
Community Action offers several programs to help participants gain the money management skills needed for financial success. Whether participants are looking to buy a home, seeking tax assistance, or want to develop a more responsible budget, our Community Services & Asset Development team can help!
Financial Counseling is available at no cost and focuses on a variety of topics including credit repair, budget management, and financial planning.
The CommonCents Program is an Individual Development Account (IDA) program, where Community Action matches participants' savings 3-to-1 and provides financial education and support.
The Free Tax-Assistance Program helps low-income taxpayers prepare Federal and State tax returns.
