Average attendance is approximately 100-200 teens and adults. If you would like to look at last year’s conference program to get a better idea of what the conference is all about, please contact Tyanna Normandin at 413-774-7028 x571 or YouthConference@communityaction.us
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We welcome ALL TOPICS that are of interest to teens!
Workshops may be offered by youth, adults, or youth-adult combinations (it’s up to you as the workshop leader). Some workshops will be attended by youth only and some by both youth and adults (also the leader’s choice). Plan your workshop to fill 90 minutes; it should be creative and interactive, and not a typical lecture.
Community Action’s Youth Programs inspires young people to build community in partnership with guiding adults. We provide free youth development programs for those ages 14-21 in Hampshire County, Franklin County, and the North Quabbin region, to help young people build the skills, resources, and resiliance to overcome barriers and be sucessful in adolence and adult life.
