FUEL ASSISTANCE

COVID-19 Update

In response to and in recognition of the current COVID-19 health crisis, CAPV Fuel Assistance has moved to remote operations for the indefinite future. Our offices are currently closed to the public. In order to do our part to keep employees, clients, and community members safe, we have adapted our services by eliminating in-person contact. We are utilizing technology to communicate. We can still be reached by phone, but please be patient if there is a delay in our usual time frame for responding.  Thank you for understanding.

Each winter, Community Action helps warm hundreds of Franklin and Hampshire County families. Available to both homeowners and renters, the Fuel Assistance Program helps income-eligible participants afford their home heating expenses. Program eligibility is determined by family size and gross annual household income.
