Each winter, Community Action helps warm thousands of Franklin and Hampshire County families. Available to both homeowners and renters, the Fuel Assistance Program helps income-eligible participants afford their home heating expenses. Program eligibility is determined by family size and gross annual household income.
CAPV Fuel Assistance highly recommends making an appointment prior to coming in to the office. Face masks are required for in person appointments.

If you are a returning applicant, your application will be mailed to you along with an application checklist. Applications for people with a deliverable fuel source such as propane will be mailed out in October. Applications for people with a public utility are being mailed out in November.
