Generation Q &
Generation Q Middle School

Generation Q is a confidential educational and social/support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth and straight allies ages 14-21. This peer-led group provides an opportunity for youth to make new friends, find support and get educated on LGBTQIA+ topics. 

Peer Support & Community Connections on Mondays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. on Zoom. This is available for anyone who wants to join and connect with LGBTQIA+ folks for support and community. 

Brave Space workshops on Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m. include a structured activity each week on Zoom. Activities include movie nights, art and music, peer-led workshops, guest speakers, social justice involvement, events, and trainings.  

Peer support is ongoing and available through Discord.

Generation Q Middle School ​is open to middle school students (ages 10-13) in Franklin and Hampshire Counties.


This program covers topics parallel to Generation Q, and holds spaces for queer, trans, and non binary youth. 


Gen Q Middle School meetings are held on Zoom on Mondays from 3-4:15 p.m.


During the meetings, youth are provided with an agenda that includes introductions, announcements, and the week’s activity. Occasionally there will be youth-led workshops and guest speakers.
