What can I expect once I am enrolled in WEATHERIZATION?

The first step is to schedule the in-home assessment, or audit. A technician comes to your home. They will measure how thick your insulation is and use a machine called a blower door to measure how well-sealed your home is.

The technician will create a work plan and assign the work to a contractor. The contractor will communicate directly with you to coordinate the work.

Once the contractor reports to us that the work is done, the technician will return to inspect the work.
