Community Action is seeking a well-organized professional to assist the administrative team. Community Action Pioneer Valley, a non-profit multi-service agency serving 27,000 people a year in western Mass., announces a new and exciting opportunity to provide innovative leadership as Director of Facilities. The Director of Facilities will oversee the overall management of agency facilities, and building safety throughout Franklin, Hampshire, and Western Hampden counties, including 11 Early Education and Care sites development.  This includes ongoing assessment, monitoring, reporting and planning, ensuring healthy and safe physical environments for very young children and their families, participants/clients, and staff in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines.   This position reports to the Executive Director and supervises all Facilities staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors’ degree in related field; 5 years’ supervisory and facilities management experience; experience with small to medium sized building renovations (including HVAC, electric, and plumbing systems); experience with bidding of capital projects; experience with short and long term planning and use of assessment; monitoring and reporting systems; working knowledge of  local, state and federal building codes; be or become knowledgeable about EEC licensing requirements, Head Start/Early Head Start regulations, Davis Bacon and prevailing wage laws.

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating work for the Facilities department, and for managing purchasing of equipment, materials, and products for the agency.  Serve as the organization’s representative for the Facilities department on coordination, procurement issues and procedures.  Provide support and management of Facilities ticketing system, dispatching and coordinating work at agency sites, including environments for very young children and their families.

This position is located in Greenfield, MA.  Salary range $40,190 - $42,647 with excellent benefits.

The Mediation & Training Collaborative (TMTC), a program of Community Action based in Greenfield, MA, is seeking an organized and effective team player with experience and enthusiasm for managing data and documents in our busy office.

This 20-hour/week position provides opportunities to collect, track, do data entry and use data in support of grant applications and reporting; and support TMTC operations by efficiently managing paperwork associated with case coordination and general office operations.

Must have high school diploma or High School Equivalency, and at least three years’ experience with related work (additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience, or directly related experience may be substituted for education). Bilingual, bicultural applicants encouraged. Position starts as soon as possible. This is a 20 hour per week temporary position, ending on June 30, 2020. Salary $14.76-$15.66/hr.
