Must be exceptionally organized and able to prioritize tasks, take initiative, be flexible, and be able to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Must demonstrate sound professional judgment and discretion, with excellent problem solving and oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

 

Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Publisher). High School Diploma and 2 years related experience, or Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Education required. Degree and familiarity and work experience in early childhood setting preferred.

 

Position is 30 hours per week with full benefits. Ongoing training and professional development, supervision, collaborative work environment. Salary range is $15.06-$15.97 per hour.

Full time position in Franklin and Hampshire County.  Responsible for the general maintenance and/or minor repairs to all agency facilities, grounds, and equipment. Coordinate and assist work of the Facilities Assistants. 
 
Must be able to work intuitively and independently as part of the Facilities team, able to be flexible to complete work based on program needs and schedule. Good skill in use of hand and power tools, general maintenance skills and excellent customer service skills required.  Travel required. Flexible hours with occasional evenings and weekends. We are seeking 1 – 2 hard-working and compassionate people to join the Franklin County/North Quabbin Healthy Families team.  

 

This family support and coaching program serves pregnant and parenting teens and their babies. Home Visitors provide intensive family support by completing assessments, developing goal plans, providing referrals and educating parents on child development & positive parenting.  (Currently we are offering services virtually but will return to home-based services when safe to do so).

 

Experience serving families with infants and toddlers and working with diverse populations required.   Daily travel throughout Franklin Co and No. Quabbin regions - Reliable transportation required. Extensive web-based and paper documentation.  Must be able to work independently, be flexible with schedule & demonstrate excellent problem-solving.  Minimum of H.S. diploma or equivalent.    Bilingual/Bi-cultural preferred Previous experience with home-visiting or parenting a plus!

Preferred qualifications are High School diploma or GED and 5 years food preparation experience in a food service setting. Minimum qualifications require High School diploma or GED and 1 year related cooking experience in a food service setting. Must have current Servsafe Certification and Allergen Awareness Training. Community Action’s Head Start & Early Learning Programs is seeking a Data & Planning Coordinator who is a curious and analytical thinker with a passion for improving systems and making a meaningful contribution to an early childhood education program that serves low-income infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and their families.

Primary responsibilities include providing technical assistance on the Head Start early childhood database, developing systems to ensure data integrity, gathering data on community needs to assist with program planning, leading trainings, and designing a variety of materials to support program functions.

 

This position plays an essential role in supporting program excellence and implementing the strategic vision of our large early childhood education program. The candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and computer skills (especially with Excel).
