January 2008: Frontiers of Trauma Treatment
Summary of a workshop on trauma given by Bessel van der Kolk at Kripalu, January 10-13, 2008. Bessel van der Kolk is professor of psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine and medical director of the Trauma Center in Boston .

Based on information CCRT staff received in this training, and from what we have learned in our 13 years of supporting people in the aftermath of trauma, we are able to offer a presentation for groups on how the body and brain respond to trauma and pathways to recovery.
